Is he/she even alive? LOL!
Was the LDL directly measured? Was this, by chance, a non-fasting test? Or did he/she actually fast for 12-14 hours? Did he/she drink alcohol within 24 hours of the test? The combination of that high number for trigs with the very low numbers otherwise is . . . weird.

We would have to know is the person on meds., what is their age and any risk factors like Diabetes, family hystory of heart disease etc. etc. The Trigs. are a lil high and the HDL a lil low, but overall, I think all the numbers, except for the Trigs. are low. JMHO
Usually the Trigs. can come down with alot less refined sugar products, and pre packaged stuff, plus less white potatoes, white rice, and white bread. I'm sure other's will be glad to help U out on more info.
Take care......

Yes they had fasted before the test. No history of heart disease, not sure about diabetes. Age 48. I agree they seem a bit wierd.

Sounds like the kind of numbers I have: high trigs. with low HDL and low LDL - bringing the total cholesterol to below normal levels.
Have your friend stay away from the sweets!

Have your friend stay away from the sweets! And also go very easy on white bread, white pasta, white potatoes and other high-glycemic index carbs.
