My 8 year old son was diagnosed with having ADD and Dyslexia last December and has been on Strattera since being diagnossed, he is at 40mg per day. He complain's daily of feeling tired at school, he get's his medication between 4:00pm and 6:00pm daily. The reason I feel that is stress rather than ADD is, him having difficulty learning to write his letters and numbers correctly causing him to not want to do his assignment's. I have never been able to get him to let me help him with his reading, math, or spelling assignments. I feel that the stress of him not wanting me to see his dyslexia is also a factor in causing stress. Another factor is his wanting his father and I to re-marry. We were divorced when he was 2 and my son has had difficulties in accepting it. How can I find out if his symptoms are not related to ADD?
