Hello, im wondering if anyone does this or seems like it happens. Sometimes when i start reading something or hear something about anxiety or some other illness.. i kinda imagine the symptoms and give it to myself.. for example, ill start to think i cant breathe well then i start to feel my throat closing/lump in my throat feeling.. is this anxiety... ? thanks for listening

Me too, I have actually stopped watching casualty and holby city . A weird thing i do is, if a buy a magazine i go straight to the health pages to see if anybody has wrote in with similar symptoms..... I guess i should stop buying magazines too.
You are not alone with this one.

Hehe.. what a silly thing to do, but I do it ALL the time.

"He has mono?".. my throat itches, I start feeling tired... I must have mono.

Bipolar disorder is bouts of mania and depression.. well I feel good AND bad.. I must have this.

Isn't this considered hypochondriacism (sp?).
