I'm writing this for my mum. She has blood in her left eye underneath the white and in the corner. Its quite a lot. Shes had this before about 6 months ago but it cleared up on its own. What is it? What causes it? Is there anything I should put n her eye that would help?

I've had blood in my eyes. Its called Sub Conjunitival Hemmorage. It usually clears up about 7 to 10 days. Most of the time it just happens ,but is not dangerous, only scarry looking. If it continues your mom should see a eye doctor. Good luck.
