Let It Bleed

Anyone else find themselves suffering from severe allergies that somehow lead to sinus infections, and often, the infected post nasal drip draining down the throat causes tonsilitis or other throat infections? I get these painful blisters on my tonsils. Strep-quality pain. Usually happens in the midst of allergy season when I'm draining severely, sinus infectin or not. Also, the cold air of winter months doesn't help my inflamed sinuses. Throar dires out, sinuses drain, then I get white patches on the tonsils. It's a chronic cycle at times. Oddly, I rarely get swollen tonsils, just painful white spots. Anyone else?

I don't get the tonsil problem but I do get allergies that turn into sinus infections often. Many times untreated allergies turn into a sinus infection. If your nose is bothering you then it is likely that you are breathing out of your mouth at night which does not help your throat.
Hope you feel better soon. if you have a long time lingering sinus infection you will want to go to your doc to get on an antibiotic (just got one myself yesterday)

Yes. I just had a sinus infection that gave me tonsilitis. Usually, though, it seems to bypass the tonsils and turns into bronchitis.
For the tonsils, gargling with salt water helps get the drainage off of them.
