I waited until midnight, or shortly after, to post this...a THANK YOU...to all of the ANGELS  on this board....

As of today, I am 6 MONTHS clean from my Vike/Lortab habit....

Wow, what a wild ride, it has been...In the begining, just KNOWING, I was going to die, I was going to fail, if nothing else, my legs were going to shake right off of my body and I would surely NEVER EVER sleep again....for all of you who replied to my late night posts....you honestly saved my life...

Even when the depression set in, the nasty anxiety attacks, you guys were always there to "walk" that mile with me in my shoes, to push me...one more minute, one more hour, one more day.....

There just aren't words enough...to thank you all, so very much for all of the LOVE and support you gave to me....you have TRULY BLESSED MY LIFE, each and every one of you....

To those at the begining of your own personal journey.....PLEASE don't give up....even if you fall, keep posting, keep venting, keep trying....every day is brand new....

The ONLY thing you HAVE to do, is BREATHE...everything else, is a choice....

From the tips of my toes, to my slightly bent and tarnished Halo....Thank you all and God Bless...

Congratulations!!! :bouncing: :bouncing: :bouncing: :bouncing:

I can't wait to get to 6 months myself. Three months and 11 days from now. Keep coming back and letting us know how you are.

It's especially important for the newbies, detoxing or thinking of detoxing at this very moment.

What an accomplishment, I cannot wait till I have one day sober, 6 months seems like an eternity to me right now.

BH,

Wow, just reading your post gave me inspiration and hope that things will get better and easier. I have been using for almost a year and have been clean for 9 days. I am way behind you in terms of the healing process, but now I have some more hope!

Did you have depression during your recovery process?
