I am 22 weeks pregnant and today I had 2 teeth taken out. The dentist used lidocaine because it is safer for pregnant women. In one more week I am to have 2 more teeth taken out. Here are my questions..
1. I thought that you always got sutures after a tooth extraction. Today I did not. Is that normal?
2. I am needing only 2 more teeth taken out and that is it. Is it harmful to my baby to expose it to the lidocaine yet again??

why did you have to have extractions?

2 are wisdom teeth and the other 2 are too far gone to be saved
