View Full Version : Mild pain around on/around upper left adam's apple

OK, I'm noticing a mild, hardly-noticable sharp pain when I press down to the left of my adam's apple/around it. I do often get swollen lymph nodes and things of that nature, but I can't really "put my finger on it," literally and figuratively...meaning I can't find what is causing it. It's not a consistent thing either--I can press down on it sometimes and not feel anything--it sort of depends on the aligment.

It almost feels like there's something sharp in there...or like the adam's apple is sharp and pricking the skin or something when I compress that area in the "right" way. I know that most people would probably brush this off, but I'd rather not risk it. It almost feels like it's the skin that hurts in that area, but there's no sign of any mark on the skin yet or anything like that. So it's either on the left side of the adam's apple, or to the left of it...or a lymph node in that area or something...anyone have any ideas what this could be a symptom of?
