About how long does it take the dentist to extract a tooth?? I actually have to get 4 pulled (all molars) and I'm debating whether or not I should get laughing gas or IV sedation, or just get numbed up and take an anxiety med. I have a pretty bad dental phobia but I'm in so much pain that I need to get this taken care of soon. Also, would you recommend getting all 4 pulled at the same time, or maybe doing just 2 at a time? If it takes like an hour to do 1 tooth, theres no way I could do all 4 at once. Any replies greatly appreciated http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wink.gif

I had two wisdom teeth pulled by the dental surgeron using laughing gas and IV sedation, and with the time it took to drug me up, I wasn't even in the office an hour. It's very quick, and if you have a dental phobia, I'd recommend IV sedation. You don't even know anything is happening, and speaking from a fellow dentalphobe, that's perfect.
