Hi all,
This has been going on for a long time, and still no diagnosis yet! And it has recently and suddenly become very, very severe! Anyway, I've just been having serious pain in my lower back, my extreme lower abdomen, hips, and pelvis. I've been to a GYN, and they can't figure out if it is something female related or not! I'm just so frustrated...I feel generally icky and very, very weak, and I'm just in sooooo much pain, I don't know what to do.
I haven't been throwing up, and I don't seem to have a fever of any sort, but I have had a lack of appetite due to the pain...I just don't know what to do! Please help!!!
Thanks,
-Angel

Go to a General Practitioner. They can check for whatever it might be. An OBGYN is going to only check for female problems. Pain in the abdomen like that and back can be so many different things. So like I said a General Practitioner can help you figure out what it is. Make sure to express how much pain you are in and what you have been through to try to figure this out. So that they realize how serious this is. Don't accept just pain pills. Make they do tests to figure out what is going on.

I have already had my gallbladder out last February, so it can't be that, plus it is my LOWER abdomen not my upper abdomen...and it isn't one sided either. My regular practitioner has also ruled out urinary problems and ibs (both types). It is on both sides, so it isn't appendicitis, I just don't know. I've had tons of people tell me it sounds like endometriosis or something similar (female related), but my doctor doesn't think it is necessary to do a laprascopy (necessary to diagnose endometriosis and other tissue problems). I don't really want to do a laprascopy either, but if it's what they need to diagnose it, I'm willing to do it. I just am really confused as to what is going on and how to fix it! I just don't know what to do!
I'm going for a second opinion in like two weeks, I don't have any free time until then...I'm just really frustrated with this.

I have endometriosis actually. I had a laparoscopy a few years ago to diagnose it. I take the birth control pill on a continuous basis to control it. I haven't had any pain from it since I started on the pill. Not that that is your problem but if it turns out to be that is one of the treatments.
