hi, I have an underbite. A few semesters ago, i took an public speaking class and on the first day the professor took everyone to see a speech therapist. When it was my turn, we spoke and she noticed i have an underbite. She suggested i have it fixed in the future if i was having problems with it. i said that i wasn't having problems with it and it wasn't bothering me at all. Normally, it really doesn't bother me but when i take pictures or being videocamed, i pay attention to that protruding jaw of mine. then, i start to be self conscious about it. That's about the only time i think about it.
If i really want to get it fixed, what type of doctor do i go to and how much would an operation cost? Thank you for any response.

Not to sure on this but I'm guessing Orthodontist. You probably have more teeth than your mouth can hold. I'm assuming removing those extra teeth and getting braces would help
