Marilyn, There are several of us taking lyrica. We have a thread going so you may want to take a look at it. Some of us are having really good results with lyrica and then there are others that don't like it. As for me it is doing wonders for my leg pain.

Hey Tomswife
I would just put my 2 cents in about the lidocain patch 5%. I used them and I have to say they were a waste of money but then again I guess it depends on what ur using it for.

I guess if we all put our two cents in concerning various issue, we could really develop some significant money over time!!

Nonetheless, the lidocaine patch 5% did NOT do anything to help my pain. I was extremely unhappy, but was fortunate that my physician listened to me an went on with my suggestion!

Needless to point out, this whole ordeal did not amuse me!

Hi,
I was perscribed the Lidicane patch and I agree that it was useless! The only thing I ever felt was a little numbness where I applied the patch but thats it. Believe it or not but the Tiger Balm Patch that is over the counter worked better. Plus when you had to take those things off ouch! well, have a good day everyone!

I agree about the patches... It was the very first thing I was given when I first went in about my back. The prescribed 3 boxes of 50 of them, and they were outrageously expensive! I tried one or two, found them SO WORTHLESS. So now I have very sticky, very expensive patches in my cupboard. I bet among us we could come up with some amusing art project to do with all the unsuded patches, eh??
