I have recently noticed that when looking out of my left eye, the tint of colors is more of a greenish/gray (maybe dimmer) than my right eye. My right eye has more red coloring in what I see. I went to my eye doc and he was stumped. His tests didn't show an issue. Has any one else had this problem?

Hello, Bennett. I wish I had an answer for you, but the reason for my eye variations like that is I just had a cataract surgery and implant. The Dr. said the operated eye has a blue tint due to the retina being starved for so long, for the blue wavelength of the spectrum. He told me this should level off in time. The eyes tend to seek that color out more than the others. For someone like you who has not had cataract surgery, I just don't know that that could be. I wish I did. It might be a retinal thing, just don't know. A retinal specialist might could provide you with some answers. I hope you find answers and help soon.
