I was just switched to Avinza for LT pain and as a BT pain med they gave me Morphine Sulfate IR made by Ethex. They informed me that 7.5mg of Morphine Sulfate is the equivelence of 20mg Hydrocodone. I cannot find a conversion chart that lists Morphine Sulfate. My body is telling me this conversion is not correct. Does anyone know the equivalence?

Thanks
Bill

4 to 1 is the normal conversion so what they ordered you is right.Sometimes it takes a week or so to adjust to the new meds.Give it a bit of time and then see your doctor.....Dave

Thanks for that info. I think you are exactly correct in giving it a chance. I have not done that. Once again, thanks!

Do you know of a website that has a conversion chart? I know they have been posted before but I could not find one by doing a search.

Hey bilbo its been a long time since I've seen you in here!! I thought Shore had posted a link before on conversion charts but I'm not 100% sure of that. Maybe check some of his postings to see??
