I was looking at the NTI website and it appears that there are 2 different types: the one made in a lab from impressions and the one made by the dentist in the office. Does anyone know which of these is better?

I had to go back 3 times to get my original nightguard to fit (it was made from an impression), so I am tempted to get one made in the office, but I wanted to check with some folks who have used one. For some reason, the dentist offering the ones made in his office is significantly cheaper than the one that would send it out, but that could just be an individual dentist pricing thing.
