My dermatoligist recommended cetaphil to me, does anyone else use this, and if so what do you think?

i have tired both....

I liked the face wash, but I got the mild type...i think it is labeled gentle face wash...it has the blue label. It was very thick so it was moisturizing. It seemed to do the trick, however I only break out around my period. I liked how it made my skin feel

However...

The lotion was too greasy for me, it was too thick and I didnt really like using it.

The lotion is definately greasy. I don't even like it on my hands! I bought some neutrogena lotion for my face and I love it.

I love the moisturizer...it's the only thing that works for my dry skin! :)

I used to use it, but I found I needed to wash my face a few times just to remove my makeup, also, even though it was mild, I have very oily skin & felt it left a greasy sheen.

I use the Cetaphil cleanser for normal to oily skin and like it. Very different from the milder version that the last poster mentioned. Works well for me because I'm kinda oily and prone to break outs. Definitely removes all makeup (including eye). Haven't tried the moisturizer but sounds too greasy for me. Still hunting for one that won't clog pores, make me shiny or break me out.

I have very sensitive skin, and the Cetaphil cleansing lotion works well. I also use Paula's Choice, which is sometimes better at removing make-up but is also as gentle as the Cetaphil.
