Hi, JellyB. I am in NorthCentral Jersey. Distance is not an issue for me. I would drive wherever I have to if I know I am being seen by a good doc or dentist. Thanks.

I'm in Bergen county. My Dr. is in Westwood. He's not the greatest, but he made a splint for me...VERY expensive. But, I hear there is a great TMJ specialist in Westchester. If you're interested I'll find the name for you?

Thank you for the reply. I think Westchester would be a little difficult to get to, considering the bridge and the traffic over there. I see there are alot of Doctors/Dentists who treat TMJ problems here in Jersey. The trick is finding somone who knows what they are doing and puts your health first before the bill. I can pay what i owe, but I want to be sure i am on a proper course of treatment. I think this time around I really need a neuro musclular doc who knows TMJD. It is such a complicated issue and not easily resolved. Really frustrating......
