well i am at the hearing level and i have an attorney. i have lots of paperwork showing my son adhd problems. he has an iq of 74 which is borderline intelligence. does anyone know the chances of him receiving ssi even though i have an attorney. i am waiting on the decision of the judge. i am so anxious to find out. can someone give me a good site to go to. we live in texas thanks

Is this actual ssi or disability?to actually get SSI for your child,i believe that it would depend solely on how your and your husbands income is?but disability is not dependant on income.can you tell me a little more here?There is also a wonderful site on these boards for discussing disability issues if you just scroll on down a bit on the list to the 'disability boards"they are very helpful there and have answered alot of my disability questions.good luck to you.marcia
