Ijust found out I have an underactive thyroid , Im would like to chat with someone that could give me some information on it

Hi Demi, welcome on the board, I also have been told I have an underactive thyroid; Hashimoto's Auto immune disease. I got diagnosed in August of this year. So I am also quite new to this.
If you go onto (THYROID DISORDERS) there’re are so many helpful people on there; someone always replies! How long have you known you have an underactive thyroid, are you in the U.K?
