Hey guys. I'm new to the dental boards so please bear with me. I've always wanted to whiten my teeth, but never really got around to it. I'll be honest, with all the "home teeth-bleaching" systems and gimics out there, I cant make heads or tails out of them. I have bought a new toothbrush and toothpaste and now brush 3 times a day. I'm hoping to eventually start to whitening my teeth. My question to you guys is, what is the "best" or considered highest-quality of the home teeth bleaching/whitening systems, and its price? Also, anybody hear anything on the Sonicare toothbrushes and if they really are what they're made out to be? Opinions on the best toothpastes would be great also. Thanks so much.

your best bleaching results would be in the dental office and can cost from 180-400 dollars depending on type an dregion you live in. you may want to try Crest whitestrips. I work in the dental office and frankly I didn't think they worked because once they got wet (duh) they slid off. But I have had patients tell me they liked them. It still won't work as fast as what you would see in the office. As for toothpaste, as long as it is certified by the American Dental Association and contains fluoride, it good stuff. If you want something to help get rid of MILD stains, try Rembrandt. It is more abrasive than regular toothpaste. Good only for light staining and is VERY gradual. So gradual you may not notice the difference and give up. Hope I could help, good luck.
