View Full Version : Method of treating gum disease

If you have "mild" gum disease, besides seeing your dentist and getting his advice here is something my dentist had me do and it works.
I purchased a water pic (small machine that shoots water or whatever solution you mix up through a small tube to enable you to get food from between your teeth).
He told me to mix a solution of baking, mouthwash and hydrogen peroxide and very warm water. The ammount of each is optional except I would not put too much soda in as it might damage the machine, I put around a half a tablespoon in.
Make sure its all disolved and mixed good and use twice a day, preferably morning and right before bed.
I have been doing this for about 2 months and my dentist is pleased at the results it has had with my gum problems. I also of course brush twice a day. Something else I did not know...You must brush the roof of your mouth and your tongue everytime you do your teeth. The germs and such reside there just as much as between your teeth.
Happy and Healthy grins to you all...
