Oh god, here i'm again.I have a little white sore on my gumline near my molar where i had my temporary crown done and it really bothers me.My dentist said i ate something that cut the gumline and it should go away in a week.Well today i had the worst visit ever.he did numb the area and was going to put a temporary crown on the tooth where i had the root canal retretment done a month ago.First of all the assistant was soooo clumsy, she hurt me several times when she was doing the rinse, and then they have 100 things in my mouth and he is asking me something, how the hell am i supposed to asnwer with all the things in my mouth.Anyway he had trouble taking impressions,he did it 3 times. The numbness was going away and i'm still there for 2 hours. He did put the crown, finally. And then the assistant took an impression from the upper teeth, she wasn't gentle at all,i almost had to vommit, because the way she was having that hing in my mouth.Anyway i'm at home and took some advil. He said i should feel better in a week.Oh i forgot, they also cut the bottom of my tounge,it was an accident, that hurts too.I'm having bad headaches,my jaw,my eye area and my ear on the right side of the head are killing me.I wonder if i should go see a specialist for this headaches.I'm going to a weeding this weekend to San Francisco and i'm in this pain. Please tell me what i should do about this pain, advil doesn't help and what the hell should i do wuth the gross white sore on my gumline?

thanks

For infections in the mouth and gums, I usually gargle with a warm salt water rinse. It can really help.

You might give it a try, until you can see your doctor or dentist.

Hi

I have the same thing from a temporary cap. It is from the cap not fitting properly. It then inflames the gum around some of it or all of it. I have a blister too. I just had another temp cap replaced last week because it hurt and now it feels better. So, it is the fit with me.

I'm sure some dentists don't want to keep redoing them but if they didn't fit them properly the first time the should.

Someone also keeps telling me to rinse with peroxide and water. And there is a product in Canada called Sterisol that disinfects your mouth very well. Another one is Amosam.
