I have been having major problems with two of my wisdom teeth (lower). Both are abscessed; have been on antibiotics for two days now. I will be getting all four pulled out on December 11th. How long will the pain last after I have them pulled? I'm just wondering how many days I will need to be off of work; so far I only took the day off that the procedure will be done. Also, will I feel ANYTHING during the procedure. I'm really scared and have been thinking about not even going to have this done...should have had them pulled out years ago but "chickened out" the morning of the appointment. I just got my wisdom teeth pulled out a couple of months ago and I was really scared. My face was swollen for about a week and a half. I bought this cream called Arnica that is supposed to help with swelling and it did. You can find at any health food store. You won't feel anything during the whole procedure if you have that sleeping stuff. After the surgery I was in pain for a couple of days mostly because I stopped taking the pain pills. Anyway, everyone is different. But, I think you might want to take more than a day off work. Good Luck!
