I have a strange question. I've been posting off and on about my current issues. I recently was diagnosed with a ureaplasma infection which the Uro thinks I got from sitting in a wet bathing suit (no other explanation as sexual contact was ruled out). I went on Zithromax and monitstat (I always get a yeast infection when taking meds) and I still get this odd burning that I feel when I cross my legs. Has anyone had that before? It seems to be right at the opening of my vagina. ???

Ok, this sounds weird, but I have had a similar problem. Have you gotten any answers from this?

Sometimes when I'm sitting at my desk at work for 8-9 hours a day, a lot of times having my legs crossed, I'll get a burning or tingling sensation in my pelvic or genital area. I was really worried about it at first, but now I'm thinking maybe its just having pressure there or something causes it? I don't have it when i get home and am walking around.

Are you still having this problem?

The things that pop in my head, which you've allready probably rulled out, but,

Tight pants, undergarmet that don't "breath" well (for a lack of better term) (try white cotton), and the last thing I can think of is your detergent, soaps ect.

Could this be related to condom use?

Hope this helps. :(

Hmm....I haven't changed my detergent and at the time of the initial burning, condom use could not have been a factor. it's very strange. I've been to the doctor a bunch of times and they don't know what's causing it. For now I'm just taking cranberry extract, lots of water, probiotics, and unfortunately Amoxicillin for a UTI.

I am still having the issue and sometimes I get a tingling feeling as well! Weird. Maybe it's just pressure? Any other ideas??

Tingling- I have that on my legs when I cross them. My doc said it was because I "don't have much fat on" me.

I have the tingling thing too. I notice when I'm siting on the edge or a chair, (right on the edge like we do sometimes) then I have this horrible strong buring down there that really hurts. I think mines a infection because I'm having lots of yellow and brown discharge too which isnt thrush. No thrush cream is working.

Its probably a infection hun or something to do with the medication your taking.
