View Full Version : can oral thrush cause "shooting" pains in body?

In the last few months I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. Since then I developed oral thrush and 'arthritic like' pain in my joints and bones which comes and goes, especially with physcial exertion. Also I have started to lose some of my hair (I'm only 20) and have lost a lot of fatty tissue especially around my pelvic area to the point where the shape of my pelvic bone is quite visible.

My question is, can oral thrush cause these kinds of problems.

Many thanks for your assistance.

I do not believe thrush causes these problems. Thrush is an excess of candida in the mouth. It is not common in healthy adults except for maybe if you have been on antibiotics and shouldnt cause the problems you are having. You need to see a DR about this.
