when I was struggling to control my bloodsugar with high doses of tablets, I found that some asprin daily helped the tablets to work better
apparently asprin on its own also reduces bloodsugar slightly, this was discovered a long time ago but largely forgotten

It may be more likely that aspirin thins the blood and the concentration of sugar is less because more thin blood is present. If it lowered blood sugar they'd have that indication by now.

All that I have been able to find about asprin and diabetics is its use when your are losing weight and when you have a fever. There are dangers when losing weight and aspirin heads off some of that. The best information that I have seen indicates that you should not take it casully, but with your doctors knowledge. Especially when you are losing weight. I did not find the support for the "with your doctors knowledge" part, but Dr Bernstein does not say such things lightly.

Blood clots and such are serious. Take care and look into it. Remember being diabetic does put you into a different posture with anything you injest.
