You will need to call your insurance company and ask for how long your insurance extends. Every plan is different, so you need to find out the specifics of your plan. In my experience, most student insurances ends the month of graduation, not 6 months after.

As a soon to be college graduate I hope your education taught you inquiry, enough so you would at least find out what kind of policy you have, what the premium is, when payments are due and a phone number to call the company.

With health care on the front pages everyday I can't understand how young people can be so casual. As a professional health agent I am saddened by the problems that can occur by not paying attention and taking reasinable charge of your affairs.
