I have been taking achidophilus for years now without very good results. My main problems is gas. Was thinking that there might be a better acidophilus out there to try?? What about the kind you keep in the refrigerator?? ANY NEW HELP FOR GAS??? Thanks

i need advice on this as well....the gas in my intestines can be really bad and it hurts like hec!

There really isn't a "best" probiotic

Threekinds i responded about the culterelle, and it is a form of probiotic.

you want the one with the most live cultures typically.. refridgerated ones are generally 'better'....


a new study just showed that bifantis, another friendly bacteria, might be very beneficial in treating ibs.

Align is a new product made by Metamucil that contains bifantis that hasn't hit stores yet, but will be out in about 3 months.... I actually ordered it directly from them so I could try it before it hit the shelves....
