:wave: Hi everyone

I was hoping to ask what you thought about my 6 year old. over the past few weeks, he has complained of a pain in his chest/rib area when walking, playing football. It goes after resting but bothers him. We took him to the doctors as my hubby has just been diagnosed with Mitral valve problems and we were worried he might have a problem also. They just told us it was growing pains and not to worry :confused:

do your kids get this sort of thing? he does not have asthma, a cold or any other illness so I am lost as to what to believe. If hubby did nopt have the problem, I would not we worrying sooooooo much.

I would investigate the asthma thing a little closer.
Also a check with a GI doc would be able to rule out acid reflux.

i have the same thing.... i have no idea whats wrong.. on wed, im going to bring it upo to the doc again, and se what he says.. since its gotton worse (ugh)
