I am so freaked out!!!! I just noticed that dark line on my belly!! I'm spotting too, just a little, AF is not expected until Monday after Thanks Giving. How soon does that line appear?? I haven't taken a hpt yet, too scared to. Am I just seeing things?? I keep looking at it.

Sounds like you maybe pg and the spotting maybe implantation bleeding!!!

Well, I know we bd'd on this past Monday and the Monday before that. He's been sick, but also we haven't really been trying the last few months. That line is so funny looking, here I have a lilly white belly, then this shade of a line from the bottom of my navel all the way down.......

I looked up Linea Nigra, which is the dark line and it says it should appear about the 4th month or so. But I have notice the change on my belly, why would it show like this?

Are you late for your AF? Best thing to do is take a test and see what you get. Good luck! And I have heard it shows up in early pregnancy also before 4 mos!

AF is not for another 8-10 days. I am hoping this is it, I really want to start having kids. I only spotted last night, nothing this morning.

i do hope you get bfp however i am 21 weeks pg and don't have this line i really doubt you have the line this early. i can understand when you want something so bad your mind can play tricks. good luck for bfp :)

I think it's too early to see it too. This morning it was very faint, so maybe it was just something that was pressed to my belly. I am going to buy a test Friday night when I go to the store. Hopefully I will get a bfp :D

Okay, so I hope this isn't TMI. But, when spotting with implantaion..... Is it possible to still have small clots? I am just wondering if I am starting to have a miscarriage.

I cant tell you about the clots when i had the implantion bleeding it was just like 2 times there when I wipped and it was a light light pink. Hope all works out for you.

It was kind of a pinkish redish color, but it has seemed to stop now. I am buying a test tonight, but I think it's still too early to take one. AF is due to arrive until next weekend.

Just wanted to add that, fair skinned women show this symptom of Linea Nigra less often than women with darker pigmentation. Just like with the pregnancy mask.

"Pregnancy mask" is like blotchy areas of darkened skin. It is like splotches that show up around your upper lip, nose, upper cheeks, and forehead etc. When this happens it is called chloasma or melasma. But it is also known as pregnancy mask.
