I have noticed that my the bones in my back (upper or lower) get out place easily where I go visit to the chiropractor at least once a month. Is this a risk factor for osteoporosis or arthritits, or simply normal? I had a abnormal screening saying I had osteopenia by a bone density meter from a health fair (measured from the ankle/heel so it wasn't a dexa) but this is not accurate. I told the doctor about the abnormal screening and I have the order for a dexa but I just would like to hear your input. I don't want to panic about it, i just curious of whether my back problem might be linked to osteopenia.

This is just my opinion, but I dont' think that being out of alignment necessarily is connected to having osteoporosis. It could be stemming from many factors. Only my best guess though. Let us know what your doctor says.
