I got my blood test results and it says my ferritin is 6 which the normal range is (18-200). I have also gotten painful cystic acne!! is there any correlation with this bad acne and low ferritin? Dr told me to take iron supplements, but is there also other ways of making it higher? like injections or somehitng?? what's B12 injections for?

I don't know of any relationship between low iron and acne but who knows? Would you really rather have shots than take a pill??? Iron injections are NOT fun and can cause reactions. The pills take a while to build back up your levels but they're painless! (Unless they make you constipated!) B-12 injections are for a different problem. In that case pills don't work. :bouncing:
