I read about it in Dr. Weil's book "Healthy Aging" and have been doing some research on the internet. I think I might order a bottle to try. Just curious if anyone else has tried it. Thanks!

Anyway these are cell Mitochondria nutrients for cellular energy.Just curious why you are wanting to try this product? barkingshark 11-27-2005, 07:03 PM The doctor told me that only what the company Geron and Seirra Sciences are planning to market are the only things which will ever effect aging and not to waste my time buying antiaging products as there is nothing currently FDA approved to reverse aging or halt it. Geron expects to have something on the market in the next 5-6 years to reverse cellular aging. 6foot3 11-27-2005, 08:38 PM The doctor told me that only what the company Geron and Seirra Sciences are planning to market are the only things which will ever effect aging and not to waste my time buying antiaging products as there is nothing currently FDA approved to reverse aging or halt it. I'ved also read about Gerons research into this product (ALT-711) its supposed to reverse and repair Glycation in the body if i understood it correctly.I'm just shocked your doctor knew about it since most dont have a clue about anti aging !! Take care !! PeggySusan 12-12-2005, 10:28 PM I am not sure what you guys are talking about but I think we gotta accept some of the things that go with aging and work on the others, I am 57 and try to walk everyday but I find I get stressed out easily and about the only time I really relax is when I get in my car and go long distance driving , wish I could relax like that all the time. But let me know if something good does come out, is it something to take for well being or to look younger???? 6foot3 12-13-2005, 06:37 AM I am not sure what you guys are talking about but I think we gotta accept some of the things that go with aging and work on the others, I am 57 and try to walk everyday but I find I get stressed out easily and about the only time I really relax is when I get in my car and go long distance driving , wish I could relax like that all the time. But let me know if something good does come out, is it something to take for well being or to look younger???? Well Peggysusan at this point there is no MAGIC pill or potion but science is moving fast on the knowledge of this subject.I like to study Centenarians and most of their (secrets) is just enjoying life with a decient diet. Look at Jack Lalane , 92 yrs old and still does 500 pushups a day. Incredible !! Geron co. (ALT-711) is supposed to start clinical trials in 2006 in phase-1 human trials. There is one product that supposed to mimic its actions in the body and thats'' CARNOSINE''. Whether or not it really works i dont know im just going by the research of this Ammino Acid by'' Life Extension Foundation ''!! So in the meantime do what Jack Lalane does eat, excercise and enjoy life..and yes i think long drives are great as i myself do that sometimes to break up the rat race !! take care !! harry! |
