I was diagnosed with Psoriasis at 18 and Psoriatic Arthritis at 28. My nails started showing symptoms around the age of 18 and have progressively gotten worse over the years. The nails would pit, discolor, break away, cuticles would separate and develop yeast infection under the cuticle, and the nail would just look deformed. I was extremely embarassed and would go to extremes not to let people see my hands. I tried Lamisil, fungus polish, and just about everything else. Earlier this year the doctor recommended that I try Enbrel. I did so and the results were amazing to say the least! My nails completely cleared in about two months. I did a total of eight treatments of Enbrel. You cannot imagine dealing with something that you just assumed would never go away and then it does! I am posting this thread for those who may deal with the same problems that I did; their is something that finally works!!
