Anybody use peroxide(very small amount) as a mouth wash? The lady that cleans my teeth recommended it to me. Just wondering if anyone else does this?

I use it as a mouthwash: most evenings, after I brush my teeth, I put a small amount of peroxide in a cup; add a bit of water, and swish it around my mouth for like 30 seconds. I also dip this special floss I use, to go under my upper bridge, in peroxide...it helped so much. After I had the bridge put on, I had a persistant case of sore gum under my bridge. But the peroxide eventually cleared it up; and I do it now just for maintenance...Deb
