i think i have this, i am {removed} like 5' 3", is it because i have a small eustachian tube. It has been happening since I got a flu or cold or w/e. All i know is that it has been getting worse since the last week that i was sick. All i want to know is if i should see a doctor, can i grow out of it, how long does it take to heal, and can it be healed and what advice to take. I would also like to know if i am in any danger of becoming deaf. I really want to know so reply to me! All i know my ears have been cracking, mainly my left, when i swallow or yawn. Is it because i have some sort of liquid in it because my ears kinda hurt too. It has been freaking me out for a while because its annoying hearing this cracking sound when i swallow. pls reply! im begging you! Oh and i dont know where to post this kind of stuff, so i may need some help! I also had pneumonia like 3 months ago. I think it might be from that. oh and i almost forgot, is earwax a sign of this, if it is, than i have it.

Hello sweetheart. You might have an ear infection. Especially since it's been sick for some time now.
Also, with smaller ear canals - you will be prone to having fluid behind your ears.
But your ears should NEVER hurt, so if they do - please see the doctor. It is probably an infection.
And as long as you get the infections cleared up, you will be fine.
If you do let your infection go untreated - your eardrum will rupture which will be EXTREMELY painful. And you could possibly lose some of your hearing.
Get it checked out honey.
Post back and let me know if you need anything else.
