I work at an Orthopedic clinic, and we deal with this type of thing every day. Go to an Orthopedic clinic :) They will help make it feel better and heal.....

For something like this, See a Doctor. :)

We're not really fit to make a diagnosis over the internet.

Sounds a lot like what happened to me at Kung Fu a couple weeks ago. A sharp pain in my elbow and then radiating down along my forearm as well.

What I was diagnosed with is Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis). Not only affecting tennis players unfortunately it's basically an injury to the muscles and tendons on the outside of the elbow joint. Typical home therapy involves R.I.C.E., although I would definitely recommend seeing a doctor or sports therapist to get it confirmed.

If you do have TE then rest is a good thing, but you can also buy special braces for pretty cheap which will help the tendons in the elbow from being overused while you heal.
