I have had this pain below the rib cage on my left side for years (I guess more than 10 years). I have done "Endoscopy" and recently I did another scan but I was told there was nothing wrong. I know there is something wrong! Even though the pain simply doesn't go away, I feel it the more when I am hungry, thirsty or feel like urinating (peeing). Can somebody suggest what needs to be done? Is there somebody out there experiencing something similar?

Gent-
I have been having the same type of problem. I have had LUQ pain for the past year. On occasion it will also be on the right side and go up into my upper back. I have been told (by the physician' s who are at a loss) it must be muskuloskeletal. I guarantee them it is not. It is very frustrating to be patronized that way! I also have breathing trouble on occasion (unable to get a deep breath unless I yawn) and fine tremors upon any activity. The first CT scan I had showed mild splenic enlargement. It was thought this was due to a sluggish gallbladder (an inflammatory response of some sort). My GB was removed. I'm still having the same problems. I have been tested for everything under the sun. Quite frankly, I'm sick of seeing doctors that either won't give me the time of day because they think it's all in my head or put me through a gamut of tests that have nothing to do with what I'm complaining about. Anyway, I know this probably doesn't help much. I just wanted you to know I have similar problems and I'm still searching.
