hi, everyone probably knows im paranoid, but i have a question and im not sure if its anxiety or something else more serious.. I notice my heart racing a lot especially if im watching something violent on tv, playing some cards, just normal things, i feel my heart beating very fast, and i just want to know if its normal with anxiety if you feel your heart beating fast from things like this... im worried my heart my just beat so fast it could stop or pop .. =)... thanks

I've felt the same way, it is just something that happens to certain people under stress, like you're sitting there, and all of a sudden your heart is beating rapidly, and you're wondering just whats happening. I'm sure you're going to be ok, just like the rest of us who expierience this awful anxiety of the heart.

I get that too, and sometimes it's not when I'm feeling especially stressed, like I'll be lying in bed waiting to fall asleep and I feel my heart just racing. And it'll keep it up for quite a while. Or I'll wake up in the middle of the night, quite sure that I wasn't having a bad dream and it'll just be rapidly thumping away...

ask doc about it but anxiety is often the cause, dont worry about it as it does no harm, learning new ways of relaxing and calming yourself will help

try to ignore your heart, dont monitor it
