View Full Version : Teething or a cold?

DD has been waking up with a slightly stuffy nose and an occasional runny nose during the day (it appears to be clear mucus). She doesn't seem to be bothered by it and doesn't seem to have any other symptoms of a cold. She has 2 bottom teeth already and one of the top (next to the front 2) looks like it's just about to pop through. Could this be a teething symptom for the upper tooth/teeth, or is it a mild cold? I called the doc and they said there's not much we can do if it is a cold other than to watch her for a fever and/or an ear infection. Again, she doesn't seem to be bothered by it, but she's such an easy-going baby that nothing really bothers her.

Someone suggested a humidifier in my other post for teething relief and it has helped a lot. She was waking very plugged and this seems to help all night and day too. Also DD's nose never really ran it was just stuffed up all the time and doesn't have any cold symptoms just teeth..
