PiNKitten 11-25-2005, 08:26 PM Can any one tell me which is the best curling mascara that lifts Sponsor sunshine1022 11-30-2005, 11:35 AM Oh, I have been looking for years and have tried many from dollar and drugstores to high-end department. I keep a list now of ones I tried what was wrong or liked about. I recently learned to return them if they don't work as promised. I don't need thickness, just some added length and hold a curl. My favorite is MF Stretch & Seperate and Maybelline Full & Soft for this. I used to use Jane's fan curling, but have a hard time finding sometimes. My next to try is Sonia K from target. I always seem to go back to MF S&S though. Of course, waterproof, will hold the best, just a pain to remove. I have found that the way you curl your lashes before application helps a lot. I start with a big squeeze, hold and slowly crimp my way to end of lashes. I laos find that after a few weeks I have to wipe the wand clean (tissue) before using. Hope it may help some. SillyBird 12-01-2005, 01:15 PM Max Factor 2000 calories with curled wand. This comes in many variations of color and wand style and this one is simply the best. The waterproof though isn't very waterproof, it was drizzling the other day and I had black tears coming down my face. Great curl though. I tend to set it in place with a good clear waterproof. Lizziebeth 12-06-2005, 04:44 PM have you tried the heated eyelash curlers, they are great with all mascara, when applying mascara, start at the root end of the lash and try to zigzag down the lashes while turning the mascara wand, this will make the lashes look longer and thicker and keep the lashes seprated, it takes a lot of pratice, but works well when you get used to doing it setell 12-09-2005, 08:52 AM I'm not great with mascara since I just started using it for the past couple of years. Before then I was a no makeup type girl, hahaha now I'm just a blush and mascara girl, and maybe foundation if I'm in the mood. My problem is, I can't get my lashes to stay curled. I don't need mascara for the extra length as it's pretty long by itself but I have tried curling it with a curler then apply mascara. It always deflates and go um flat out after a min or two. Can anybody give me any tips to help me figure out how to curl my lashes. thanks in advance :D kitkat77 12-11-2005, 03:06 AM When you apply the eyelash curler to your eyelashes, make sure you are looking down. This will get you the best curl possible. The only mascara that I've found to work even a little without using a curler, is the new Panoramic one by Loreal. Kari7171 12-12-2005, 12:03 AM I am going to try the heated eyelash curler. I had never heard of that before. Revlon has one I wonder if they are in the store. They must be I just have stuck to the same things for many years now and don't really spend much time in the makeup department anymore. I just go and buy my same brands that I like so I did not even notice they have heated eye lash curlers. Seems like it would be better for my lashes. I have lashes fall out all of the time from trying to squeeze them with the regular curlers. |
