is there anyway i can sprint faster? if i do weights on my legs will it cause me to run faster aswell as be more powerfull?

HIIT (high intensity interval training) is a good way to gain speed.

Avoid ankle weights as it can actually damage joints while running, but as mentioned HIIT will help, and adding weight in general (a backpack with weights, water bottles etc) will help you to have more power when you sprint unweighted.
