My husband has been on dialysis for over a year now.At one point he was close to quitting because of the way he felt after treatment.He tried the PD and he was able to live with that.Then due to other health issues(heart attack,infections,)they had to remove the catheter.Things have been going okay with the hemo treatments up until his last surgery.They had to remove his leg.He lost the first one about 4 years ago. The problem now is that during dialysis he starts to sweat.His clothes look like he just stepped out of the shower.He gets home and goes to bed and he is out of it for the rest of the day.He is usually sick to his stomach and sometimes he throws up.He has talked to the doctor about this and he says that it is unusual and he doesn't know what it is from.My husband is tired of being sick and is getting to the point of quitting again.Has anyone else who has done dialysis ever been like this and is there anything that can be done to make him feel better?
