Hi everyone! I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and resulting from that I also suffer from mild depression. I was on Lexapro 10mg for six weeks. It worked wonderfully except for the sexual side effect. I figured I'd better think about my boyfriend's feelings and talked to my doctor about trying something else. So my doctor put me on 150mg of Wellbutrin. He never weaned me off of the Lexapro. I have been taking the Wellbutrin for 9 days now and feel terrible. I am constantly tired, dizzy, and feel like a walking zombie. Every so often I also become nauseous. I cannot decide what to do about the medicine. I am so fed up with it that I want to just go back to the Lexapro and force myself to keep my sex drive going on my own. Could these feelings possibly be withdrawl from the Lexapro? I want to call my doctor on Tuesday and talk with him about it so any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

So sorry you are going through this! I switched from Buspar to Lexapro and my Dr. had me cut back 5 mg every two weeks. I was taking 30 mg of Buspar which did nothing for me. I took it for a year.

I now take 20 mg of Lexapro and feel great. I do have the No Sex Drive but.... my husband is wonderful. He says he is just glad to have me back and can live with it. We do have sex just not as often. I find it's getting in "the mind set". Once things get going I am fine.

I had anxiety, depression and to make matters worse Panic attacks and Agoraphobia  My entire family was dealing with this because I never wanted to go anywhere. Now I go places and have a lot more zest for life.
