Hi.
I have an appointment tomorrow get my facial hair threaded. The hair on my face is light, but I have a lot of it!! So, my friend told me about her salon that does threading. I would like to hear from anyone that has tried this threading, or waxing. My skin is super sensitive and acne prone-- so I am so scared that my face with go totally haywire from either one of these procedures. What can I expect? Thank you so much!!

I have my eyebrows threaded all the time now! I absolutely love it. They come out cleaner smoother, and with a good shaping.

I found the wax made my brows red for a day or two, plus I was peeling leftover wax off my brows for a week later.

Go for it you will love it!!

If your skin is sensitive, then I wouldn't suggest waxing. While I was on Accutane, my skin became very dry and sensitive and waxing made the arear around my eyebrows very red. However, that typically goes away in a few hours. I've heard threading is pretty good, though I have not tried it myself.

Hi. Well, I had my appt today and opted for the threading. So far, I am very pleased.. It wasn't very painful and my face is so smooth. My only regret is that I waited this long to try it. Hopefully, my face wont break out like crazy. I will wait and see.. But, I would highly recommend this!
