Sorry for this embarrassing post.
For the past month or so two I've been having a problem with having little pebble sized to golf ball sized stools. Several of them pass at one sitting and collect at the bottom of the bowl. They use to be solid and all one longer peice but not lately like that at all.
What am I doing, eating, or not eating that's causing this? Sometimes it's hard to make sure everything comes out that feels like it needs to come out. :(
I was pregnant for 12 weeks up until last week when I suffered a miscarriage. Could the pregnancy have caused problems with the bowels?
What should I eat or take to get things back to normal.
I admitt to not eating much fiber at all. I don't drink loads of water either (maybe 4 glasses a day)

My dr. told me to take Fiber-con everyday. It really does help. Drinking more water would help too.

I agree!!
You need to drink 6 to 8 --8 ounce glasses of water daily. And a person needs 25 to 35 gram of fiber daily. It needs to be a combination of soluble and insoluble fiber.

Hi retrochick,

You need to drink lots of water. Always carry around a bottle of water and refill it or get a new one, every day. You also need to eat more fiber. Get a high fiber cereal, and a bread that has more fiber (read the labels). Also, fruits and veges, especially raw ones and ones with skin, have fiber.

Or, if you are like some people and that does not help - take metamucil every day or every other day.

Take care and I hope you feel better and are more regular soon.

Wannabe
