Approximately three weeks ago the dr. changed my daughter from Serzone (generic) to Wellbutrin 300 mg. (felt the Serzone was losing its effectiveness) She weaned off the Serzone and onto the Wellbutrin, but she is experiencing terrible headaches and increased anxiety and depression. She finally got in touch with the doctor's office this morning, and he told her to increase the dosage to 300 in the morning and 150 in the afternoon. Can anyone with experience tell me if this should help the headache, but, most importantly, how long will it take for it to alleviate the anxiety/depression? Even those she's 26, I am still her mom and when she hurts, I hurt. Two women in tears is NOT good.

Wellbutrin has been good for me I only take 300mg 1 time a day I have not expiereinced headaches like you are describing. does she or did she consume caffine beverages and stop abruptly this can cause headaches and I know you are not suppose to take caffine while on it. I hope that she gets better soon. It could also be withdrawal effects from the previous meds.
