I just started taking my birth control and well I guess I misunderstood my doctor and didnt take my 'off pills' because I thought that I couldn't take them till I actually started my cycle, so I skipped them and just started my next blue pills for the next month. Well , friday i started spotting or bleeding however you want to take that and the(spotting) still hasn't stopped. I know that this is normal especially when you first start bc, but is the spotting suppose to last this long?? :confused: Amymatt6


It's common to spot when skipping the inactive tablets, especially if you're on a triphasic pill. It's likely that the spotting will continue until your period is due. Just be sure to take the pill as directed this time.
