My sister was dx last Feb and had a breast removed in March. She is 37 now. She has a 13 yr old and a 2 yr old at home. She has been unable to work since her surgery. Her family has supported her, along with some assistance each month. Trouble is she is so negative. She is so difficult to be around. She was like this before the diagnosis. It is so hard to talk to her about anything, she won't open up to anyone. I feel bad talking about her, but I don't see any end in sight re: her financial problems. She can't work because she can't afford daycare, but we can't afford to support her financially forever. She claims she is still sick, but it is difficult for us to understand. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Now, that's what you call a hard situation. Is there anyone she is close with??? Her 13yr old? You just need one person. One person she trusts and will talk to, to talk to her and kinda crack her open, and tell her what's really going on and that she needs to smartin up. Don't worry about talking about her like this. It's only cause your concerned, and hell i'd be too!
