Hello everyone,
From now on, members that disregard the board guidelines for posting personal contact information, websites with advertising, or other serious matters, will no longer just be given warnings. They will automatically receive a one week ban. During that time of being banned, they are expected to carefully read and be ready to follow the Board Guidelines they had agreed to when accepting membership. If the violation is flagrant and completely disrespectful, they could be banned permanently as we have done in the past.
Generally .gov websites are OK, but any website that has message boards/chats, or sells anything - they are not permitted. If you are unsure, you may request website preapproval from moderator1@healthboards.com. Personal contact information includes email addresses - we can't allow them. We keep these boards moderated to make it enjoyable for you all. We have also asked members to refrain from inappropriate phrases, words, including those suggestive of profanity or cuss words. To exhibit strength or emotion in your writings instead, please consider the smilies that are found in the similies legend on the left-hand side.
Thanks everyone for your support. Most of you are all doing great - it's just a few that need to understand the rules. Please take time to read them. Also see the "IMPORTANT MESSAGE to MEMBERS" at the top left-hand side of each posting section. Click on that to get more information about the rules.
If you have any questions about this, please don't discuss this on the boards, but rather email me. All moderator issues are to be discussed off-line. Click my name, that you can see on the top left-hand side - so that I can help you. Thanks again - Well-come Moderator.
